How the Fairview Team Works The expertise and experience of Fairviews investment professionals are important prerequisites. Teamwork enables us to deliver superior results for our clients. Fairviews management structure is flat, assuring that our complementary skills consistently come to the table. A platform of disciplined process and unrelenting standards supports the informed qualitative judgments that set the Fairview team apart. And when it comes time to make a decision, consensus rules. The research component of Fairview operations encompasses tracking trends in the economy, industries and the investment community, as well as deal flow, individual partnerships and entrepreneurs. Proactive cultivation of opportunities is also enhanced by our collective experience. Waiting for opportunities to come is not how we do business. Due diligence processes assure that Fairview invests in top quality fund managers who demonstrate the capacity to execute against successful investment strategies. Fairviews research sets us apart: off-the-reference-list information about people behind the opportunities is as deep and broad as our diverse networks. Proactive portfolio management goes beyond financial reporting to meetings between fund managers and members of our investment team, who also serve on advisory committees to some of our portfolio partnerships. We are active portfolio managers, often drawing upon our experiences as investors and practitioners to help solve a problem or correct a course. |
