Participants in the Elements of Excellence Series have demonstrated expertise and success in various facets of the private equity and venture capital industry. Fairview invites industry leaders to share their stories, experiences and approaches in engaging ways via novel communication models such as web conferences and netcasts.

Elements of Excellence Symposium

Fairview hosted its Elements of Excellence Symposium on November 18th, 2010 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City. The event featured panelists representing funds in the Fairview portfolio, as well as a unique perspective on the pharmaceutical industry from Kenneth C. Frazier, President and Chief Executive Officer of Merck & Co.

The three featured sessions were: The Proliferation of Digital Media, Successfully Achieving Liquidity and Emerging Markets Private Equity. Below is a comprehensive review of each session and panel discussion as well as the presentation slides and program guide from the event.



Elements of Excellence Web Conference

The Fairview Capital team was pleased to host the first web conference as part of our Elements of Excellence Series on September 23rd, 2009.

The conference provided a novel platform for participants to share elements of successful private equity business practices through three unique panel discussions focusing on brandbuilding, portfolio construction and lifecycle management, and investor communications.

The event featured distinguished panelists representing funds in the Fairview portfolio, each of whom brought unique perspective to each session. A review of each session and presentation slides can be found below.
