The Fairview family mourns the tragic loss of our friend and colleague, Alberto “A.J.” Recio, II, who died on May 2, 2012. He was 26 years old. A.J. was originally from Miami, Florida. He came to Fairview after completing his Bachelor of Science degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Massachusetts. As an analyst at Fairview, A.J. made significant contributions to our firm and to our limited partners through research, analysis, and data collection in his daily work, and in those special projects that were his singular responsibilities, including the Fairview Weekly News Feed, and the audio-visual work at our bi-annual Elements of Excellence Symposium.
At Fairview, he is remembered for his unwavering reliability, his dedication to excellence, the quiet determination with which he embraced every task, and for his affability and his wry sense of humor that could appear unexpectedly, but just at a time when it was needed most. We at Fairview join his immediate family and a host of friends and loved ones who will miss him and who lament the passing, all too soon, of one whose future was bright with promise, whose spirit was warm with kindness.
